Convert an area into tiles and whole boxes
TileCalc separates the mathematical face-area count from the allowance you choose and the whole-box rounding required by a specific product.
From area to tiles
Add the surface areas, divide by one tile face area and round upward for the base whole-tile count. Apply the explicit extra percentage to the unrounded ratio and round upward again for the purchase count.
From tiles to boxes
Enter the exact pieces-per-box value from the product label. Divide the purchase count by that value and round upward. The displayed ordered-tile total may exceed the requested purchase count because only full boxes are available.
